Results from Camaro/Firebird Day
Hey guys, i never posted this but heres how i did at camaro firebird day at NED last month. Was a fun day but very hot!! temp was in the 80s.
First run
60' - 1.70
1/4 - 11.99
MPH - 113
Second run
60' - 1.70
1/4 - 11.96
MPH - 114
Third Run
60' - 1.69 PR
1/4 - 11.94
MPH - 114.7xx
Fourth Run
60' - 1.97
1/4 - 12.6x
MPH - 113
Last run i blew the tires off, they were literally showing threads.
These were bracket runs and i was tree'ing .100 to .200 the whole day which im happy about, and made it to the fourth round, third round was a double breakout because the air got cool fast.
Pretty happy with my car, its a CAM only 98 with 100k miles, no intake, no pulley, no heads, stock suspension, and shitty tires on stock rims. 3460 race weight. Drove it there 115 miles and back.
I think leaning her out some (soot on bumper) and taking a chance at a higher shift point, along with tires, i can hit a 11.80.

impressive for just a cam. I've been thinking about doin a cam swap myself. ive got a few bolt-ons but a cam would be really nice. Shouldnt you swap in heads with a cam? or do our heads flow good enough?
