Any idea what your race weight is? Could be a pig heavy car.....
no idea but i didnt prepare for the track at all. i had everything i normally have in my car plus a 20 lb nos bottle in the back thats not hooked up lol. only thing i had goin for me was less than a half tank of gas. and the run was without a burnout too.

Start with getting rid of that handheld tuner. 101 mph is insanely low for a ls1 m6. Any idea what year ls1 went into the car? I'm willing to be a 98.
dyno tune is scheduled for this monday. and no im not sure what year ls1 but it most likely was an older one.

1st!!

check and make sure that the throttle body is opening all the way at WOT, it may sound rediculous, but i drove my Z around that way for years without knowing, just thought my car was a dud ls1, and when i found this issue, man was i wrong, easy 60-70 hp left on thetable.

i got the car dynoed today and it put out 260/330.... the car is losing fuel pressure past 4k rpms. I have an appointment to remove the fuel pump booster from when it was procharged. we believe that that is the problem.

No love for the superchips tune? The superchips tune work very well, at least for my GTO. Good luck with the dyno tune

It sounds like your fuel pump it's about to R.I.P on you.

Tune is junk, that needs to go. Get the car on the dyno, see what it's making. If it's low, like in the 290's or something, leakdown/compression check, I'll bet #7 is shot from the procharger, procharger setups kill #7 faster then anything, always have (constant boost no matter what condition just beats the #7 piston to death)

What does the car weigh? I see you have a bunch of stereo junk in the car, that never helps ET Rip that ricer crap out and give it the heave, that will probably help

the car dynod 259/330 at 3500-4000rpms... then the power just plummeted after it starts losing fuel pressure. And id rather keep the 15 lbs of "ricer" stereo equipment i have in my car. its not worth all the work it takes to remove it.

Ouch, that sounds about 80rwhp too low for those mods. What kinda dyno was it?
