Ill get Chris to add your video to our video section on the web site.

Thanks Dave, couldn't have done it with your help!

Congrats Andy! Sorry I didn't see this till you pointed me here - I generally stay in the tech sections because I don't get to race anymore

Glad you cleared up that 117MPH for me in your signature - I about had a heart attack when I saw that...

Hey Bret, thanks for looking out for me! I really appreciate your help, like I mentioned in my first there's a handful of you guys that help make this possible. I hope to reel in some better 10s the next timeout or at least make a good full pass

UPDATE - Went and tried it tonight with the 28s and made two passes. I'm happy with the outcome, however I feel she has alot left in her in cooler weather and off the TB. These were brand new slicks and they did not hook very good the first pass and the second pass they did a little better but I touched the limiter both passes on the 1-2, got to get more seat time on the bottle.

DA- 2133 (very hot and humid, actually rained a little while we were at the track)
60ft - 1.57
1/8 - 6.94
1/8 mph - 100.47
1/4 - 10.85
1/4 mph - 126.03

DA 2203
Second pass
60ft - 1.54
1/8 - 6.93
1/8 mph - 100.28
1/4 - 10.84
1/4 mph - 125.80

This was on pump gas, 21 degrees timing, #7 plug, 62/33 jets or 150 shot, off the footbrake, cut out closed.

Getting better! Lower the 1-2 shift point a bit (seat time will bring that around) - keeping it off the limiter will help a bunch (nitrous won't cut in and out). Open the cutout - nitrous car wants all the exhaust flow it can get... How much air you running in the slicks? You got 10.5x's in it when you get the 60' down... Good job man!

Thanks Bret, I had 13 psi in the tires cold and I think they grow like 1 to 1.5 after the burnout. You know I didn't even think about the nitrous cutting in and out when I hit the limiter, that was killing my et right there, good call. One reason I think I messed up on the 1-2 was I was running an uncapped probably 13:1 comp 69 Camaro race car and I couldn't even hear my car, lol. Talking with JL he thinks that my mph as well should be good for 10.5s, I sure hope so. We normally get a few days in November that produce some negative DA so I hope I can make it back during that time. Heck negative DA, I might even have to call in to work for that

All the more reason to open the cutout - so you can hear your car... I went 10.65 @ 125, so I'm sure you have it in there... Leaving off the transbrake will get your 60' down some more too. You have the transbrake hooked up to disarm the nitrous when it's engaged, right? So if you go above 3,000 rpm you won't accidentally spray it on the brake - very important! DA plays a small part, but remember, you bring your own air with a nitrous car...

Glad to see you making progress and having fun! Get some more seat time, and it will come around. Do you have adjustable shocks?
