Back when I had the old stock engine in the car with 92K on the clock never had the valve covers off. Stock LS1 intake, Stock heads, Stock cam 11.94 at 3,665 lbs. don't remember the complete timeslip. Best 1/8 mile time was a 7.50.

Also through a y-pipe and full exhaust to behind the rear with a dump.

Well, my best is 12.56 @ 111. Here are my mods:
LS1 Intake
Stock Cam
Stock Torque Converter
P&P TB
Pacesetter LT's
3" Y-Pipe (no muffler, just a dump off Y)
Stock Crank Pulley
Temp was around 90 deg also

Car weighs 3350 with me in it

185K on motor also 3-4 shifts were slipping that night.

So if I throw a 4K stall in there, I will hit 11 sec pass......

yea i went 7.83 spinning with a 1.74 60 @88. with lts,tsp,tds,lid,tune,411s.then broke a strange cromoly ds.would have went 70s easy maybe 60s.

i went 6.83 with a bone stock 165k highway patrol car! only mods was vigilante convertor flowmaster muffler and alot of spray with weld wheeels and 275 50 15 grag radials and run it a while like that! cant get much stocker than that and btw it was a 2000 no ls6 intake!!!!!!!!!!!!

Who said anything about putting a cam in? I'm just changing a few things and hoping for negative da to run some 11.60/70's passes.

I do have one though on the shelf. Along with a few odds and ends here and there. Looks like we might have a bit of a friendly rivalry on our hands here.
