Default ssra chris1313

I have combo
SSRA+box lid+filter k&n+descreened Maf +Smooth Bellows+ported TB
The gain in the track was 3.6tenths

I'm thinking about changing ssra to chris1313 ram air
but the problem is I need to remove the a / c

The difference would be 0.5,,,0.7 or 1 tenth ?? more?

I actualy got that ram air but on the hot summer day when I was taking my ac condensor out I decided it wasnt worth it. I needed to keep that ac man. So I evactuated the system, recharged it back up and sent the ram air back to speed inc lol. The ssra is good enough. And when I get the stall next year it will be even better.

Idk how anyone could say any cai seals any different from eachother concerning the lid. Any cai you choose you will have to seal it up fully anyway. I use calk.

I have the fast Toys and gained about a MPH with it. I also noticed my air filter gets dirty much much faster now.
Nice write up.

That's why I use the hood. The filter stays much cleaner, and it works better.

SSRA or chris1313 ram air--->
more gain,, more air mass,, more oxygen,, more speed (venturi effect),, more mph = Increase in dust Particles (dirty) in the air filter

every action is a reaction

Solution?

If you can go to a track rental and do this experiment again, I bet you would get a more accurate result.

As long as the 60 foot and 330 look close as well as the DA then I am willing to wager you can account for the difference in the SSRA.

Also if you can hot lap it (which is possible at a rental) this would take many varibles out of the equations.

Well, as far as exactly how much gain it is I really dont know but I do know it works and worth it. If it wasnt, I would have a HUGE B&M trans cooler in its place
