how high you reving the L92 setup with a victor jr? I would at least hope 7500 or so with that size of camshaft, unless your 105 lsa on the cam, which i dont even think you could get a on that kind of lsa cause I had a rough time getting a camshaft for mine on a 107lsa, and mine still makes peak power at 7500, and rev's to 8k. GMPP L92 intake(JUNK)
I'd say with the proper custom cam, match to make power where the l92's and victor jr setup wants too, you would be in the same ball park as your current setup.
but in the end, as long as your happy with the setup, and how its running, thats all that matters!

My point exactly. You spent $$$ for 2 tenths and your back to fine tuning this combo. I did tell you nice gains. I know what it takes to run a 10 sec car( not directed to OP). Good Luck with the new combo. I agree that the TF heads have more potential then the 92's. I misunderstood what you were stating. Some other people post on here so that others will go buy the flavor of the month. I'm just a saying. It's tough making street legal cars run the number. I would like to see some one really find the peak of the 92's.

I have no clue on DA this or that. I will only go to the track in 65 ish deg weather, not too cold or too hot. Also, when i sold all my other parts I didn't spend much over $1,000 bucks for this new combo.
BRIAN-With new slicks i could of hit 10.5 or if i had a roll cage and didn't get kicked out after two runs. I could of played with the shocks and i was running 16psi in the slicks. less air might of helped. YES,i do need the heads and intake port matched. I just do not want to pull the heads again ti'll the 427ci is done. I'm tired and wore out on this car for a bit. I have thought about it hard.
BES NOVA- I shifted the l92 set up around 7,200-7,300 and this set up at 6,500-6,600.
And i do think people do forget, this is a 3,480lbs car and i'm 225lbs in it . thats 3,700lbs with my fat *** in it. Doed the car need a diet,or do i.
It is hard to gain when you're already in the 10's.

Good Luck with the 427. Yes it seems that you hit a wall with these cars when you run in the mid 10's. The next step seems weight reduction, trans swaps etc. All these make the car less streetable.Oh you could always go the FI route.

just a little back ground. its a 418, 6.0L block iron block. solid roller, t&d shafts, the all pro hurricane heads, with a little port work, they came in a 225's, now are 235's. port matched super victor. about 13.to1. pretty aggressive camshaft, but no valve spring eater. Made a touch over 720hp NA without the vacuum pump, and some 1.3/4 dyno headers(my 2" kooks wouldnt clear the dyno)
it will be going into a sub 3k lb car, faceplated 6 speed etc etc....
i will be starting a build thread in the next few weeks! so be looking for it
