Did some more testing and tuning today. First run was a 8.37 @ 160. Made some adjustments and ran 8.31 @ 161 short shifting 2 to 3. Last run was the 8.29 @ 163.1. Still working on learning how to adjust the clutch.

427 C5R powered motor. Its been posted on this site for years the set up and problems from the start. To much to retype. Motor is 4.5 years old. Been re-ringed once plugs changed 7 times. 2000 SS 25.2 cage @3250lbs strange 12 bolt 513 gears going through traps at 9800 rpms. Had Pro Line Race Engines do the build and Steve Petty tune it.

Steve seems to think based data we need larger injectors. Once we get a better handle on the clutch set up we think it may have a high teen left in her. We have exceeded my goals when I started this project 5 years ago. Don't know how much is left but planning to squeeze every drop out of her then move on to something else. It's been a ride for this old man, lol

Thanks sir it's been a long time coming and as I have started makes this old man happy. Original goal was to get in the 8s. Found Pro Line and Steve Petty and have not looked back. Almost makes the horror of the first few years go away. Morgan is the one who said follow your dream Dad and don't give up. That's what you have always preached to me.
