First time I've ever taken anything down the track. Feel like I should have been better though. Def need to work on the driver mod.

I've got some pretty used up street tires. DA was about 2800.

so you went 13.5 @ 111 with a cammed 6 spd car? everyone has to start somewhere. practice practice practice.

the car seems to pick up the second half good. get some tires and seat time, i'd guess that car ultimately has low 12s in it on a perfect pass.

just to put some salt in the wound...my wife took the car in sig down the track 4 times her first night at the track and went 13.41 @ 111. it had a lid and weld in flowmaster at the time...

You definetly need some traction,DR's or try a different technique a 2.40 60ft is really boiling the hides off the line.

I see the time on your slip says 9:37pm,was there dew setting down on the track?

Try going back during the day on a Saturday or Sunday.

There had been some fog earlier...so there may have been some moisture

Unfortunately that track only has fun drags on Friday nights the rest of the year

So enter the brackets on Saturday or Sunday.

The tracks prepped way better and you usually get a couple hours to practice(dial in) your car.

Make your T&T passes then park the car if you don't want to race.(but you could win some money if you do race)
