What's up guys i have a 95 impala ss with full weight at 4200lbs. I went to our local impala meet here at capital raceway MD, I have a LE2 setup heads 226/234 custom cam stock LT1 350, full exaust, dyno tune, Yank 3200 stall FLT LV4 with stock kumho street tires. I was kinda nervous for my first time to get off the line right and not spin, but that was hard lol. here are my two times listed below. How can i improve? And this was my very first time at the track and racing and running my car, How did i do, how can i improve? Does the car have anything left in it?

you gotta get that 60' down. what psi was the rear tires? and even front tires for that matter? if you can get a good set of sticky rears that will help greatly.

How were you launching? off idle, stalling up a little? depending on the stall some like to be flashed at the line.

practice your reaction time and the more time in the seat the better you will become! Looks good! have fun!

all tires were at stock pressure, lol what tires do you recommend ? I had the stock 255/50/17 kuhmo tires. And ya the first time i stalled just a tad bit and a little more on the second run as you can see because i felt like i spun for the first 1000 feet. Thanks alot for the help

What gear do you have? How hard are u turning it? How much did u put down? Those traps seem way off for a hc car. Even at 4200 lbs

Yeah I was thinking the same thing those trap speeds are really low for a h/c car. And your 60' would benefit greatly from some drs get yourself a pair of Mickey Thompson or nittos
