I have a h/c/i 404: fast 102/102, ported l92 heads, ~240/250 cam, m6, 3.42s.
Nitto 275 DRs. I will probably shave off some weight for the strip.

What do you think I can run at the track?
Any tips on making the most of what I have?
I really want to break into 11s. Last time iwent to the track i got a 12.1@129 with the stock block and 100 shot on street tires.

 

with that MPH you should be going alot faster. Sounds to me like you need some slicks & probably more gear too.

 

You ought to be able to break in the 10s. What does it run without the nitros?

 

If you can hook, then 129 trap speed should get you in the 10s

 

You can probably break the ten bolt, better launch easy lol.

I ran the 12.1 @129 with nitrous 2 years ago on street tires and a 346.

I am wondering what the hci 404 without nitrous will run, m6, drag radials.

You should be 11's all day, launch that thing!

 

Go run it at the track, post results and then everybody will know what it runs.

 

How bout u save urself and the crew at the track a headache and buy a rear and suspension on the car before you head there. Just enjoy it as is moderately on the st for now.
