kicked out of the track today... went to the track today for the first time with my new setup. i didnt really know what to expect but was hoping for the best. the car has stock k-member/a-arms, power steering/brakes, full interior--street car. car puts out 714whp at 15 psi through a th400. i didnt get to weight it in but i figure it to be about 3550 raceweight.
first pass off the trailer:
1.74 60' -left on no boost
6.45@117.25 -1/8th
9.833@138.19 -1/4
I was told no more 9 second passes after this
since i only have a 6pt.
decided to just run the 1/8 mile for a couple passes and work on my 60'
ran a best of:
1.36 -60' leaving at 3800-probably around 8psi
6.01@116.4 -1/8th
I ended up cutting a best of a 1.347 60' but blew that pass.
last 2 passes i decided to go for the money shot and see what she had. first pass i spun bad but still managed a 9.6@143 with a 1.5 60'. the track was going away but i decided to get one more in. dropped the 2-step down to 3700 and went for it.
1.428-60'
6.04@116.69-1/8th
9.431@143.9 -1/4
after that i got cut off, but the track was hooking terrible and i was done anyways. it was a very good first day at the track and all i did was play with the 2-step/tire pressure. i was very happy with the 60's and the car defiently has a lot more in it with better air and more seat time.

Car sounds insane that is damn impressive for the 1st time to the track with this set up.Its cool getting thrown out but you no what u gotta do.Look foward to lining up with ya should be a good run.
