Default numbers low. first timer?

This is in the wrong forum section so I"m making another.

Car is an A4 making 334RWHP, with 2.73 gears. 275 tires up front and 315's in the rear.

My best time was:

60' 2.117
1/8 8.852
1/4 13.504 @ 105.37

DA looked up was about 1500

I definately feel like this is slow from what i've been told. what air pressure should I be running in the rear?

Your reaction time has nothing to do with your ET. You can sit there for 3 days and it won't effect it. Your ET doesn't start until the car actually starts rolling. Something definitely doesn't look right with all the mods you have. You should be in the 12s with that 2.1 60'. I'm not sure man, does it feel like its shifting OK? Wonder if you need to take it back to your tuner and make sure something isn't off.

I just went 13.503@105.52 with a 2800ish DA. My mods are very similar to yours. I just have 245's that really spin on the 1-2 shift, and 2.73 gears as well. I don't know what 1200 difference makes on the DA. You arn't to far off.

I wasn't sure about the RT, but thanks for clearing that up. and The shifts seemed pretty smooth, and around 6 grand I think. I'll have to pay better attention next week. I'm at a loss, this car has had problems all throughout, and everything just seems "slow" about it.

Could be something as simple as a bad fuel filter, or plugs. I'd go through the car and check just to rule out the simple stuff. Or even throw it back on the dyno and make sure its still making that 334. I hate to compare cars since there are so many variables, but I had a heavier 04 automatic GTO with the same mods you have and it ran 12.8 at 109 pretty consistently. Your car should be faster than that GTO IMO. Hopefully its something simple. Keep us posted, man.

It's got new plugs, new everything basically. Haven't checked the fuel filter yet. On the dyno it was shut down a little early becuase third gear was such a long pull the engine was definately getting hot.

I also notice my gas pedal has to be pressed hard into the carpet/insulation. Sometimes I wonder if i'm actually getting the TB open all the way. I'm going to try to adjust the gas pedal now

just FYI a 04 running 12.8@109 is freakishly fast for those mods.

the OP isnt really that far off. he has the 2.73 gears (YUCK) he still is only cutting a 2.1 60ft and running at 1500 DA. he isnt going to run much faster than those current times with those weather conditions. what was your 1/8th et and trap?

8.2 at 84 mph. That was done on Nitto DRs, 1.90 60'. I had a pretty agressive tune on that car too, no torque management to speak of, and very hard shifts.

That's your main issue, get some better gears and keep practicing. I cut a 13.2 bone stock with 3.23's. You'll be in the 12's if you get something more aggressive.

I feel like im not too far off, but I've heard i should be trapping high 12's with 109mph. I know the gears definately suck, but I've also seen guys running similar or LESS mods with 2.73 putting down low 13's and high 12's.. unless im that bad of a newbie.. but i was consistent at 13.5

EDIT: my 1/8 times:
8.82 @ 82.86

i think those times are pretty much the norm for the mods the car has, no need to panic just add more goodies and you will be fine.

my times were 13.2 @ 105mph with a 2.02 "60ft with sumitomo tires.
with the following mods:
lid
Lt's
ORY
3.23's
catback
