I just noticed this but we have the same car's and color...lol I have a black '00 Camaro and a pewter '02 Formula haha. Nice rides man!

 

Hell yeah! LOL looks liek out camaro's have the same hood too, Mine's the 3" sunoco extended. However that car is gonna be about 29xxlbs when i'm done so i'll only have to add a few lbs for ballast to make weight for the class, which is nice because i will be able to put it where ever its needed!

 

Yep I'm making my black car a semi race car as well. I just have the bolt-on vfn hood, it's getting a 427 with a PT106 and I'm going to try to have it weighing around 3000-3100ish with me in it (I'm 140lbs), gonna keep it 6spd too cause I want that 6spd record!

 

Nice! that should be pretty nasty when completed, good luck on the record quest! This car was just an auto when i bought it so i'm just gonna keep it that way. I'm toying around with the idea of swapping motor from the formula to the Z and just turning my formy into corner carver or at least a more streetable car. I'll make my decision later on this year after the tracks close and its time for winter modding lol
