First time at the track last night
Finished (for now) the car August 13th so that's just 13 days the car has been driving. First ever time down the drag strip and had such a blast it was awesome. I ran pretty decent no problems with the car other than I think me not heating my tires up like I should be.

Just looking to see if anyone has any input on my combination and passes. I'd love to get mid 12's but the runs last night exceeded my expectations regardless.
Unfortunately unless I can find a trailer and some time, I won't be able to hit the track until next year
I have enough parts to build a killer g-body with a 383 gen I sbc only problem is I don't have room for another car haha. Only thing I need is a solid frame and body.
I'm thinking about driving the car to No Limits Raceway formerly.US 41 in Indiana and making some passes. I'm thinking a good dyno tune, some lighter wheels with some slicks, disconnect the front sway bar and stall it up some more. Also different mufflers and some practice I'm aiming for 12.5s without touching the engine again.
I think I was stalling the car at 2000, but I can't be sure I was paying attention too much at the light. I was making amatuer mistakes and my foot was starting to slip off the brake the last two times when staging. I barely had any time to stall it up after deep staging the car. Definately need to improve.
Looking for a good LSx tuner around the Chicagoland area. Heard of a couple places but would like a couple more just to compare rates/shop hours etc.

Thats why its called testing and tuning, you gotta get out there and try.
Oh and before I forget, 3 runs in 6 hours is about average for a "Street Night". You want more, you gotta look for rental days, maybe 25-80 cars max and you will get all you want. BUT with your car your going to want to try out different things, since automatics run rather consistant. Unless your going to try ditching out weight or playing with launch, you generally cant do a whole lot to change an ET unless the car has major issues.
The baseline pull was at 304rwhp running super rich, and the last pull was at 378rwhp.
