i would suggest leave your rears at 32lbs because the tires are made to obtain maximum traction when they are inflated not deflated. and a 1/4 tank of gas will help too

I would just go with husky 94, don't worry about the race gas and so on. Lightening the car is a good idea. Do you have lca relocation brackets? Might be something to put on the shopping list. Get your new tires first and see from there.

Here is a thread full of great info for 6speed drag racing. https://ls1tech.com/forums/drag-raci...cing-tips.html

Ok, I'm just going to address the points that really stick out to me.

Shifting into 5th is a good sign that you're doing it wrong. Invest the $50 or so into a shift light to help that problem.

110mph is very low for a cam car. I've seen as high as 116 in my stalled A4 stock cam car. You should be MPHing much higher, at least in the 116 neighborhood. Good sign that you're short shifting as well.

Work on smoothing out the launch. You shouldn't be blowing away Nitto DR's with a 2500 launch if there is a smooth engagement. People are quick to trash those tires, but they've worked well for the past 12 years or so. I wouldn't be completely dismissive of them.

Ah, the T56. Why try to drag race with a manual. Very few people do it well.

Dyno Tune. I'd probably punch whoever tuned that car for 11.0 AFR. That is pig rich for a N/A application. I wouldn't even run my nitrous tune that rich. 360rwhp is really low for the mods you have, and running a T56 as well. I'd recommend fixing that before doing anything else.

Shift points as well. Stop short shifting if you want a good ET.

As far as the Hooker Radials go, I've seen good things with them. I'd still recommend a full slick like an ET Street or Hoosier QTP for an M6 car.

Have your car retuned/dynoed. Thats probably a BIG problem. Your car should put down close to 400whp with a T56.

If you have any vids of your runs post them up. Thatll help everyone to hear/see whats going on with your car.

Yeah, what they said. My A4 LT1 with bolt ons (and I'm missing some) and a mismatched 306 cam on stock heads, stock intake manifold and stock bottom end and only reving that cam to 6350 put out just about the same power with 110k miles on the engine. I would have expected you to be at about 390-400rwhp with a T56 and an LS1. I'd get it checked out.

AND I went 12.4 THREE times this Saturday on a bone stock suspension with Nittos on a mediocre prepped track when the DA was above 3000 and my trap was 3mph down from my previous best.

Same here. Vegas pretty much summed it up.

OP, address those issues and get some more runs in. There's a lot left in that car.
