I can definitely feel the FRA mod as the speed increased. The gears made a big difference too. I'm crossing the 1/4 well into 3rd Vs at a pretty low RPM with the 3.23s. GM really should've just put 3.73s in these cars from the factory, imo. The headers have actually been the least effective mod yet. I gained 1 mph and 1 tenth from them and the ORY. Only worth it due to the fact that I bought OBX headers and installed them myself.

Whoa! Never heard that, but I can def believe it. I'm going to see my tuner Friday to back it off some. I'd be happy with a 12 flat. It bounced off the limiter 2-3 times before shifting into 3rd.

Thanks Rob. It went from 12.54/110 to 12.42/111.5 with the headers. Could be some variable I'm missing. The DA was the same and the runs pretty consistent. My car was already tuned, so that maybe why mine showed less gain. I think most people do headers and a tune at the same time and then post their results.

you didnt gain as much from the headers because you werent gettin enough air in yet... Had you already done the FRA, you would've gained a lot more from the headers... Which is why you gained sooo much from the FRA..Cuz you already had the headers

Ya I have had like 3people tell me that about hitting the limiter. I wonder if I should run mine again before I add my 4000 stall/373/knock sensors. For I can see how much the LT's/ORY helped me..

Shift problem RESOLVED! Had my tuner make a couple adjustments and now she hits 3rd right on time and with plenty of pressure. Really curious if that shift will drop another 1-2 tenths. IMO, it will.
Moge, you can definitely beat my ET with the right key mods. The right cam, stall or gear, a good tune, and tire...you should walk right on past me.

I may run it this weekend, not sure. It looks like the temps are going to be a lot warmer this weekend, so I may wait for a cooler day. But, I'm thinking about going ahead and pulling the front sway bar and passenger seat, and shooting for an 11.99 when I do run next time. It's a long shot, but possible IMHO.
