dissapointing 1/8 mile times. why??

I think i found the problem here..although a converter ks definitly in order. I changed the oil this evening and found that my oil looks like silver metalic paint. i am not losing oil pressure or hearing any knocks but it looks REAL bad for this ls1. guess i will start on that new engine sooner than planned.

Not sure yet? most likely a 383 with afrs need to to do a little searching first.

I have a 383 build in mind for when my motor goes south eventually too, it's definitely a nice route to go , Very easy to keep it good and reliable and streetable with gobs of torque. Sorry to hear what you found out with the oil change though =/. good luck with the build!
