New PB for our '06 GTO
We recently changed our gear from 3.55 to a 3.31.
We were a little concerned that the converter might not
be able to handle the additional strain, so we went to
SGMP for a quick test and tune.
Surprisingly the car responded very well and gave us a new PB of,
8.881 @ 155.01 mph for the 1/4
5.713 @ 123.60 mph for the 1/8
1.347 60'
For those that don't know the car: It is an '06 GTO with ALL
factory options: AC,PS,PB ABS,CD player,full interior etc,etc
Mods include, nitrous fed 427 with TH400 and 8.8 IRS.

Thanks guys!
I checked "you tube" yesterday for the video that my son-in-law posted.
Searched 8.88 GTO and (4) videos came up. (3) of them were showing
our run, but the fourth video was of a "stock bodied GTO".
This car looked to be a pro mod, with chute, power glide and pro mod type spoiler.
It was probably an early T and T run but it ironically, ran 8.88 also., however
it's trap speed was 163 mph. (we were obviously much heavier)
Interesting comparison....check it out.
