new PB intake only Car is an 02 z06 40,xxx miles. Stock except for intake and spray but the bottles were out of the car for weight. Can't wait to get my 11.50 then add the 100 shot.
Went to Atco last night with a previous time of 11.76@116 1.71 60'
The DA last night was awesome. -1200 I think. I have to check against my slip later.
I've been trying to get my 11.50 intake only for the past two weeks. I've had a bunch of crappy luck. E town closing eRly cause of a huge oil down. Atco closing right after I got there. Cecil being the worst prepped track I've ever been on, and a misprint on atco's website. So after so many failed attempts I finally got a great night of racing in.
The stock clutch wasn't liking all the abuse. If I let it out quick it would grab good. But trying to slip it and it would slip for almost all of first, finally grabbed hard up top. Then 2nd was fine.
Previous best 60' was a 1.71. Yesterday's was a 1.75. I don't think the stock clutch likes the 26x11.5x17 et streets. I'm going to go back with the et street radials because they are about an inch shorter.
I had a few low 12s then got back to 11.8s when I started getting the launch better. Finally got an 11.7 then started power shifting 3 and 4.
On my two 11.6x I powershifted 2-3-4
Best two runs were 11.65@ 120 1.80
11.60@120 1.75
I'm hoping to get a nice low 1.6 And get to 11.49 intake only but I really don't know if my clutch can do it.
Btw my last 2 passes I was getting fuel starvation after the launch. And my best pass was 2 before that. So that's how much gas was in the tank
