I have these plugs because I do have nitrous on the car and intend to use it. I haven't sprayed it yet because I wanted to work through the current issues first. Is it common to use a scan tool while the car is on a dyno?
Are you running nitrous? I'd start with the proper plugs, a converter suited to your combo, and a tune to bring everything together full circle.
You use a scan tool to monitor knock and knock retard. Or something like the J&S Safeguard

Just a heads up but I did the same thing. I put BR7s in the car, gapped them down for the nitrous and also had open exhaust and tried to do some tuning but the car ran horrible. I fought it for a while and then got the exhaust done and it was a lot better but still didn't run right. Then put in the TR6's and was able to tune the car. Now when I put the BR7's back in the car it runs fine. I'd get a factory type plug or something closer to the stock heat range and get it tuned before worrying about the nitrous set up.

After speaking with Chris at Circle-D we decided the current converter is not the right one for my car. I currently have a 258mm and will be running a new 245mm. I will post results when I have some.

That is exactly what I am getting. My old converter is just way too tight at about a 2,500 rpm stall. How does the 5C drive and launch? Any issues with heating up the tranny fluid?

I had a 3400 converter in my car before that (could stall it up to 2500 on the line) that one felt like stock. The 5C is noticeably looser, but for what it is, but I feel it's still a "DD worthy" converter. As far as temps go, In the fall/winter time I don't need my trans cooler but in the summertime I use it and it's fine. I also have a trans temp gauge in the car so I can keep an eye on it. In june of this year, the 5C significantly improved my 60' going from a 1.60 to 1.46. Best 60' with it was a 1.40 or 1.41 this fall and that was when i had 3.42 gears in the car Ive seen a 1.39 since the 3.90 gears and the wheels come up a lil bit everytime now

I currently have a 258MM 2B so it hits 2,500 if I am lucky. I don't have an external cooler currently so I might have to add it to the list. My car is cammed and I think the 5c will be a good fit for the powerband of the cammed engine with just enough room left for a 100 shot of n2o. I plan to run it on motor most of the time so I wanted to maximize the N/A performance.
