First time out with the supercharged Z06: Timeslip inside.
Hey,
Just got my A&A supercharged Z06 tuned a couple weeks ago (619whp/514wtq) Took the car to the track today to see how it'd do.
Keep in mind, I haven't been to the track in a couple years and never been there with a car making this much power.
Someone said the "DA" was just under 1800. Whatever that means lol
I made 4 runs total.
1st run I missed 4th gear and coasted across the lane at 12.5 lol
2nd and 3rd runs I forgot to turn off stupid traction control and hit the rev limiter at the top of 2nd. 11.7 and 11.6
4th run was the only one where I did everything right. Ran a 11.46 @ 124.
My highest trap was 127 but also had a 2.2 60' that run
I'm running Toyo Proxes TQ drag radials and they did way better than I expected them to. I definitely feel there is more in it but not while I have the stock clutch and I'm really not that good of a drag racer. That's the main reason I only did 4 runs down the track. Didn't want to burnout the clutch and have the car down for the count now that we have the great weather.
Anyway, just thought I'd share.
I'm in the right lane. Was a Monte Carlo SS in the left.

That's a really good 1/8th mile mph IMO, but I'm very surprised you only picked up 23 mph in the big end. My car for example with a bit less hp picks up about 25-26. With 101 at the 1/8 you should be close or over 130 trap especially with that much power in a c5. Might be your clutch holding you back. If you get that replaced and head back later on, you could certainly click off some 10's with more practice.
