Default New times for my 2000 SS 383 NA

Took my car out tonight to do some test hits and came home with a new PB 10.58 @ 126 MPH with a 1.42 60's. this is all motor and full weight. Need to work on the tune a little more and I'm sure I can get a 10.3 out of it. Here is a pic of the launch.
Here is the video of the 10.58 @126 MPH 1.42 60's

Congrats, nice pass. The 383 ls motors don,t get much love. My best at 3650 was 10.76 at 125, with a 1.42 60 n/a.

I seen the short time and thought it would be a littel better with that converter and gear. I guess those big heads on that small motor. Car is flying on the back half if it is at full weight. You get those sixty foot's on down and some weight of here and there is no telling how fast you can get out of it

Thanks. I'm not done tuning it. I've been tuning on it at the track and I only made 2 passes. First pass was a 10.68 and did a little change and came back and ran a 10.58. Yes car is full weight with roll cage so it's not light. Will scale car in a few days to see what the car weighs in at. Once done tuning it on motor, I'm going to install a dual stage NX plate on it and hit it with a 200 shot before I go turbo.

Here are both time slips from last night. Left side is first pass and right side is second pass.

Great runs that night, the car looks as good as it runs can't wait to see how high it gets off the ground with some laughing gas... Keep up the great work.

Tire is a MT 28x11.5-15. At the end I'm coming out about 7000 RPM's.

Thanks. Car drives awesome and it was super easy to tune it. I'm still tuning on it and hope to get it all done soon. I'm sure car still has better times.

Would like to hang out with some of you Houston guys next time I go out there. Might be dropping off my next build with Erik in two weeks. Maybe we can meet up and take Erik out to lunch.
