Thought id share results from some friends SBE 5.3. A lil ove 3k lbs. Turbo 400 w 3.55 gears on 275/60/15 pro radials. Its on alcohol and has an 88 mm turbo.

 

Dang 4s on 5.3 thats rolling. Brainard is my local track. I cant believe I missed this race.

 

Do you replace rods often?

 

no on the rods. They have ran this combo for 2 seasons with no issues with the bottom end. They have started out way safe on tuneup and just make small adjustments to turning it up.

 

Ive been going to that track for prob 35 years. Just turned 36 Ive got a bike i run there quiet a bit.
