I have used my tick master cylinder all the way adjusted both ways, didn't effect my clutch or pressure plate at all. I'm sure its possible though.

It's probably your clutch

I don't have a tick mc installed but I do have one. I have a McLeod twin disk to install this winter too but im not positive I can use the tick mc on it.
Your clutch too

hhhmmm really? But you're still having a problem.

This will fix it. No need for the tick either. I still run the stock master.

get a good clutch. Spec x trim, tilton, qtr master. Any of those is a win.

That's a nice lookin' car you've got. I didn't notice my clutch slipping but after I replaced it my times sure improved. Check out this HRM article, he's running a stock engine full drag setup into the 11s.

Yeah like I say I hate to put the tick in bc mine shifts great except 2-3. But I know its title clutch. I bought an rst a month or so ago but I think im going to upgrade to the rxt. It's supposed to be a spec in my car but not sure which one, its really impressed me though bc it keeps taking abuse lol. Ive talked to Stephen in person at ls fest 2 years ago, I would've traded him in a heartbeat. His car is nice, he was actually there for drag week, he juss put a 402 in it I believe was.

Yes really, before the tick my clutch would stick to the floor at anything above 3k rpms.

The same **** can happen with mechanical clutches when they have a weak pressure plate. The hydraulics are probably a bit more sensitive to it. The tick is a cover up for it because it's a larger master. That means it moves more fluid and pushes the hydraulic release bearing further to mask the issue. There has been many on here put the tick in and the problem continue.....especially after they stress the pp a couple more times.

It's fine until you get them hot. That messes up the pp springs and they ate nothing but a fight from then on in. Alot of the aftermarket stuff uses the same type oe looking pp. Once you get away from that your problem is gone.
