Finally the car has made it into the 10s!! Lorenz at lsx power tuning has got the car not stalling or surging and running faster. Still gotta get my wide band in the car so Lorenz can maybe get it a little better. Also I've been a slacker but the Chris1313 is going to be in the car before it runs again.

Great work Jamie! It takes commitment and dedication to get a full weight car into the 10s n/a with stock displacement. Well done.

Thanks guys. Its been a journey for sure of constantly changing and/or adding parts but with the help of Gary at Texas Speed putting a awesome combo together its worked and I've been blessed with a 10sec total street car that can be driven anywhere and anytime. Yes the car has been on a dyno before and made 495 with the 102 combo and 430 with the 92 combo. Hopefully we can get it a little faster.

So you gained 60+ hp from a intake swap or did you change other stuff as well ?

Thanks ! The 92combo was dynoed in the middle of summer here and made 430. The car had changes made and we never dynoed it after the changes and all I did was run it to see how fast it would go. The 11.02 was ran on a a -da day here in February 50ish degrees outside. Next change to be made I felt was a 102 combo to try and get a little more and hope for 10s. The car had pacesetter 1 3/4 lts and I swapped to 1 7/8 tsp lts along with making the y pipe connection to the cat back all the same size pipe instead of the neck down at the joint. All this was done while running the car and never dynoing it. Put the 102 combo on and it wasn't as hot here by then and the car made 495. So the header swap was in there along with the y pipe to CB joint swap. I was never expecting 495 and all I was hoping for was maybe 440. All added together gave the 495. I was told the header swap was usually 15 gain so whatever it truly gave me I have no idea. I feel like the 102 combo is better on the car and the car is consistently faster with the 102 combo so I'm happy with the swap. My goal was 10s before the year is out and I finally got there, now to see if I can inch a little more out of it.

Our cars run pretty simular. I'm still looking for that 6.9x pass though. I believe if my stall was a little looser it would 60' better. Best so far is 1.56

Went to a track rental this past weekend and sprayed 150 on the car. Car still has the same mods and now has a 102 mm nitrous outlet kit on it along with a fjo progressive controller. I'm super pleased with how the car ran and the car continues to amaze me. We saw it can go a 9 but the track wasn't there for us later in the day and it's still a little rich on the fuel jet since the afr is 10.90-11.0. Car is rotating now so hopefully the bmr extreme anti roll bar I just purchased will tame the rotation down.

Thanks guys! I actually wanna remove that fan and cooler setup cause I'd rather have the bird plate in, the previous owner did the fan and cooler after burning up numerous 4l60s.

Badass! Get that BMR drag bar on there. I am surprised you didn't need it before now. Mine was worth a 10th in my 60 .
