Default The end of the bolt on ls1

ran 11.5 @ 120.98. 1.72 60'. Was just getting my 60' working better and spun a lifter or something. So I guess it's time for more power.

I love these responses lol. My favorite response is "just the good ones" gets me every time.

Rookie question, why does this mean the end of the motor? Can't you just replace the lifter?

Trapping basically 121 on stock cam is impressive. Regardless of these people getting up in arms over your mods, that's moving. Are you planning on getting a set of heads to go with your cam?

the car is very impresive good job hammer

but not a bolton car a built car with choce factory parts with some aftermaket parts

once the valve covers come off it is not a bolton car end of story

you say factory cam and untoched heads

but what about rockers and valve springs

calling a built motor a bolton motor is doing a great diservice to true bolton cars

why do you keep calling your built motor a bolton are you trying to convince other people or just yourself?

i dont get mad over internet stuff lol

i dont hate my post started with my saying your car is inpresive and saying you did a good job

how is that hating?

i also noted that you never said what valve springs and rockers your bolton motor has lol.

and no our motors are not the same . gm built mine you built yours
mine is a real bolton yours id not.

425+ rwhp come on really? haha thats more than a big cam 241 ls1 makes on an engine dyno with no alt water pump or any accesory as well as no drivline.

please dont insult us

My engine was all ls1. More ls1 than most 01-02 cars.

Shame to see it go down like this. I think the car had 123~ in it. Hammer runs in some pretty bad air.

I'm 100% with John Stewart. Just from a couple posts I would think he's a good guy. Types like a 2 year old? Lol. Defending someone who avoids all questions like he's some high end grudge racer or something. Even if he was that's still weak as hell.

I'm glad the Canadian section didn't let him in "bolt-ons".

Everybody call me hater now?? At least I'm not a poosy!

Yeah it did for sure. Problem is it was running on the last bitter end of the rpm in the last 100'.

What does your car weigh hammer? That's the key to bolt on cars success. Or most of it anyway.

This is not the street race and cry section. Hammer, I hope to out your time slips with my BOLT ON LS1 (stock rockers)before I yank it out. Will you cry if I do it with less weight, more gear, race car? Good runs for sure. I love when people see my car leave after discrediting it in the staging lanes.

No man I hope you do! I know there's at least 4 tenths left in my setup easy with a proper diff and rear suspension. That would be the key
