Hey guys, just a fun "let's see who gets closest" post. I'm finishing up a pretty big upgrade list on Reaper, and I'm gonna try and guess her new HP output as well as new 1/4mile time. Old setup was bone stock ls1, long tubes and tune, with Moser 9in, and 3:89 gears, 330 HP 350 TQ, 3580lbs, ran 60' 1.680, 1/8th - 7.709 @ 87.353 mph, 1/4 mile- 12.070 @ 112.419....
new setup, ported 5.3 heads and mls gasket to come out around 11.1:1, MS4 cam, new rod bearings with ARP rod bolts, top end kit to put shift point around 7k rpm, LSXr 102 intake with 102 TB, SD tune, 36lb injectors, 4:11 gears, exhaust is true dual drag setup with no cats or mufflers, just two 22in long 3in turndowns, minor weight reduction, haven't weighed yet, but gonna guess around 3400 race weight now, RST twin disk, gonna launch as hard as the slicks will allow...so my guess is new HP and TQ might be about 460hp and 450tq, and maybe 10.8 - 11.0 1/4, possibly around 125mph? Idk, that's my guess. Car should be finished and dyno'd about 4 weeks from now and I'll take it to the track ASAP from getting it tuned. So let's hear ur guys guess-timates 😊

I have a build very similar to yours actually. I'd say in perfect DA and air maybe 125 mph in the quarter. Dyno number....well they can vary quite a bit so I won't even guess on that lol

thanks for feedback, nice to hear you have nearly the same setup, have you ran yours in the 1/4 Yet and how do you like that setup?

Anyone think high 10's are possible with this new setup?

Haven't ran it at the track yet, but for the money I'm very happy with it. To give you an idea though, its strong enough to run neck and neck with my buddy's 500 rwhp ported 03 Cobra. On the 150 shot I was able to slightly pull a 650 rwhp KB Cobra.
