Finally was able to get my turbo sbe 5.3 Nova to the track. I entered NMCA True Street at the track about 20 minutes from my house. I drove it there, competed and drove it home. I was hoping for 110 in the 1/8. I had some major boost controller issues (my fault) where the boost curve took four seconds to reach the target. It still ran 7.05 at 106.5 and I ended up taking 8th out of 36 cars, so it's not all bad. I'm looking forward to gettin back with the boost controller straightened out. I'd like to run low 6s at 110+. We'll see.

Thanks guys. The bad part was that the car's had plenty of street blasts on it while tuning, then I went ahead and changed the boost control strategy a week or so before hand. I wasn't really able to drive the car much due to time, weather, etc. before the event. The thing is in True Street, once you're back from the 30 mile cruise, you can't touch the car. No laptops, can't open the hood, shock adjustments, nothing. The first pass I knew something was up. It was moving but not like it did in the past. After the three passes, I pulled the datalog and saw the boost curve and literally laughed out loud. The car did exactly what it was told to do, I just gave it bad info. I'm very happy with the way it ran all things considered. Here's a shot of the car in the lanes You can see the gradual boost curve in the top panel along with the target boost. All that's fixed now and the boost follows the target pretty close.
