Default New PB '99 SS

Removed the heavy leather seats. Driver side race seat only. DA was 0 at Sumerduck last night and car was banging the limiter each shift.

I'm sure hitting the rev limiter on each shift didn't help lol

Very true. I lost '60 when I went to the 275/60s also. Car definitely has 7.50s in it with just a few small changes.

Thanks Hio! Got a few more changes to the car happening next week. QA1s up front with a drag spring set up and comps in the rear, BMR anti-roll bar for the back. Hopefully get back to the track in the next two weeks to try it out. Car is pulling the driver tire as is and this should straighten her out I hope.

Yes sir! That'll be the next fix after I get done traveling for work. I'll be starting a complete build thread soon. Parts pile at home is a mountain and I just don't have time to work on it. Frustrating to say the least. Hopefully this coming week I'll get the suspension stuff done and make one more baseline run before the build starts.

Tried to get the BMR anti-roll bar on and discovered I need some longer U- bolts and spacers to clear the rearend cover. Did however get my comps on the rear and removed 9 pounds of underlayment. Wow that stuff is heavy! Rear speakers, seat belts and brackets gone too. Hopefully the weather will hold out for us today at Sumerduck, DA is rotten though so probably no chance at a new PB. No trap door on my car either

I could be 100% wrong but you have the anti roll bar upside down which is why it does not fit. The picture you show of the stock one and new one you see the stock one is laying on the concrete correct and the new appears to be wrong! It looks as if the photo where it is on the rear end you have it wrong as you did on the concrete floor. You should flip it the other way. Again I could be mistaken but I think you will find it to fit.

That would be some funny **** right there. I'll find out in the morning. Damn if it doesn't look that way in the pic too! That's what getting in a hurry can cause lol trying to rush and get it in before racing today

Fits like a glove. Put it on this morning and need to make some slight adjustments tomorrow morning. It hits the rearend on a hard bump street driving. Thanks for the fresh set of eyes on it New PB '99 SS-photo557.jpg

That looks alot better. You will be happy with how it helps the car 60 foot.

Once the suspension has weight on it the bar rolls up and back. We had to clearance the bolt heads just a touch and the bottom of the rear cover slightly. Went ahead and did the heater hose mod while I had it up in the air too. Dropped the car about 3/8"

Well it was time for some new meats under the rear and I've been wanting to go back to a 26" tire so I ordered some new Hoosiers DR. They'll be here tomorrow and hopefully help out my 60' too. So I've got a set of 275/60/15 ET Street SS if anyone local wants to try out a 28" tire. They have a little bit of tread left on them and still hooked up great with minimal track prep.
