Damn that’s a healthy cam for a ls1! Similar to the size I’m going with in my stroker engine lol nice run! Curious to the weight of the car too

Car weighs 3200 lbs. Yep,cam is a little big, i will be changing it out next season. It still runs well tuning is everything.

Prolly not smaller but with a different lobe profile so it's easier on the valve train, this cam is an old comp cam called Trex. it kinda slams the valves closed

Well. let me rephrase, its older technology, Cam motion has almost the same cam but it's easier on the valve train, Also I need a cam with more vacuum, I have shitty brakes as this cam is making 8 inches of vacuum, it needs a least 16 to make the brakes work better. Is there a way to make to tune in more vacuum?
