For that size cam you're still spinning it WAY to low.
The higher you spun it the faster it went.
You should be shifting at least around 7200 rpms if not a bit higher.... probably closer to 7400 rpms
Also more stall would benifit a lot also.....4400+
Ls6 intake is anemic for that setup.
Go with a MSD or Fast 102

My wife's cam only (243/247 623 lift) car we shift it around 6700-6800 rpm @3300lbs it runs 7.00s@96-97mph in the 1/8th. Sixty foots 1.46-1.48 with a 4400 stall and it likes to be stalled to 1800rpm-2200rpm hopes this helps.

The 60’ time is critical on N/A automatic cars. It’s the very first thing I look at on my time slip. Especially when racing a power adder car you’ve got to be able to get out the hole and fast with a good reaction and 60’ time.
Plus the power adder drivers usually panic when you pull a car length ahead by the 60 and they scramble and start spinning. I’ve won a few like this.

Its got stock heads still, ls6 intake with a 12 bolt w3.90's on a 27 inch drag radials. She has had the car for 15 years we have had lots of time with the car, but its still got basic suspension with some lakewood drag shocks.

Too much gear as well. I’d start with the intake and everything in front of it. It needs more rpm but without air going in that will only get you so far. Lots left in the 60’ I would look at the lower control arms/brackets and check tq arm installation for proper angle. Things change if the car is lowered after the fact lots of people mess that up.
