Because it looks better on a drag car sitting on slicks. That hood was meant more for the racers, not cars on stock tires.

his 69 firebird has run 10.dohs - i guess that is where the name came from he will get there though. no doubt.

lol, yeah the 68 went 10.02 in the heat of the summer so i know it will run 9's on a good day. The hals were set at 2 at the track.



I do have video of these passes, I posted them somewhere on here already. I think it was in the 10sec club section, ill try to post them on here.

Heres the video of the 10.80 pass, as you can tell i was very gentle on it because it was the first decent pass ive had in it. I was even shifting at like 6000 rpms cause i dont have a window switch yet I was just wanting to get it down the track
