Looks like you could give me the K&N an FRA since I weigh 230#. That was on stock goodyears a 3000 launch and slip the clutch out till the weight transfers then stab the throttle and shift about 5900. My car had no tune and no other free mods except fra. When I had the Z I would have guys come look at it at the track and they would walk around the car then shuffle their feet a little and say that car don't have a catback or a lid is it stock. I think it throws them because I am 49 years old and they don't expect a old guy with a 6-speed car to be running that fast.

My other 99 ran 12.98 bone stock with 22,000 miles on it. Was pretty well broken in at that point.

12.94 @110.3 w/2.07 60'. Launched around 45-4700 rpm's slipping the clutch just a lil til the nose rose, then lettin it rip. This was done on the stock F1's. The car only had 1,000 miles on it at the time. I have all my times documented. And what's weird is, you can see how as the motor got more miles on it, the car got faster. The quickest it went with a lid, cutout, and free mods was a 12.66 @112.xx, and that was on a 2.00 60'.

Can't be scared to drive'm!!

And? There was no LS1 Edit at that time if I remember correctly. We are talking like 99-00...maybe 2001.

Thanks just tryin to show some people the real potential of LS1's
I have owned two LS1 Camaros and I have a very difficult time believing you could take possession at your Chevy dealer between 1998 and 2002, drive to the track and run 12-anything. No tuning, stock tires, no mods. I'm not talking some SLP version here.

My bud got a 13.10 with a bone stock 2000 M6 Z, 245 rubber. stock down to air lid and paper filter. i think if it would have been a SS, 12's would have been very possible. -Jim

Have a vid on my site of a 12.99 run from SLP day up in Ennis. Only thing not stock was the front runners and the old 16" wheels off my LT1 car that had some worn down GoodYears on it. Rears were stock wheels & tires off a 96 Z28.

(EDIT: Car only had about 250-500 miles on it so didnt want to mess up the good/new tires, but that changed quick... hahaha)
