13.2 with a lid and cutout in a full weight 2002 WS6.

track is at 800 ft. DA was probably around 2000.

Road and Track/Car and Driver and the like only praise import nameplate brands and basically they SUCK at getting good numbers out of domestic cars.
Magazine racers really humor me sometimes.
The point I tried to make is that, IMO, bone stock means "off the dealer's showroom floor", e.g., Goodyear Eagle 245s and GM's tune.

Yes, there are some that have done that. My other 99 ran 12.98 "bone stock". It did have 20,000 miles on it before it's first track pass. Don't know if you consider being broken in a mod...

Paper filter, stock lid, full interior, stock Goodyear GSC's.... Only mod was a jacket on the back seat because it was a little chilly that night.

My car ran 13.24 show room stock. The car had 3500 miles on it. Stock tires, stock air filter, no weight removed. If I remember correctly the sixty ft was 2.0x and the mph was 104.x. It is an SS but has no SLP options.

My '02 SS M6 with 2,000 miles was show room stock when I ran it. It was my first time running a car at the track ever. On F1's it ran 13.1 @ 109 with a terrible 2.2 60'. With a 2.1 or a 2.0 it would have been high 12s all day long.

The first thing you notice here is the wild variations in times for bone stock LS1s. Track altitude is part of it, but some cars are just better than others.

That's my definition as well, and in that trim LS1 F-bodies HAVE run in the 12.8 to 13.1 (and slower obviously) range.
And my point is, what Rodent Track magazine running 13.9s has to do with our world is beyond me.

That looks more like a Z-28 time than a SS.

in the right conditions and most important A DRIVER ... yes 12.9 is possible.. 13.2's and slower is more common....

At least. BTW, I would move to Myrtle Beach if they had a good drag strip.

I didn't read the whole thread, but here in houston low 13s are not uncommon at all. Me and my sister took her 00 Z28 3.23 auto car, bone stock down to the paper filter and stock tires. First and only run i took it down the track was a 13.18 at 104.9 on a 1.98 60 ft. She consisitently ran 13.2-3 all night. Since then she ran it in worse whether and horrible track prep and the best she could pull was a 13.48 or somethin at close to the same mph.

I ran a 12.765 @ 106.33 MPH with a 1.748 60' on Street tires....and I have a time slip to prove it. DA was -375 that day
Its stock as far as I know except for a flowmaster exhaust(was on the car when I bought it)....

2000 SS M6
and I am full weight....
personally I think I got a miracle run...But I also hit a 12.9xx on the same day in the same lane.... most of my runs have been 13.0xx and 12.9xx

As already suggested, times are going to vary widely. Track elevation, weather conditions, driver skill, year of car are just some of the few things that will affect et. My '99 SS ran 14.44 @ 99 mph when I first got it. With nothing more than learning how to drive, I got it down to 13.28. I'm sure I could've run faster with a little more time but I was itching to start modding. Keep in mind that this car had 117k at the time. Mine was one of those cars that dynoed low, so I see no reason why 12s can't be achieved by some of the later models under the right conditions.
