Your old arm was junk, Alston was one of the first places to come out with that style torque arm back in the last 80's. Alston used to sell them thru Granatelli and also Jegs I think but now only does their own. You will be very happy. You have to save that old arm, it's really messed up!

J/K Keith.Looks like it was made of PCV tubing, was that part of the weight reduction ... a Home Depot TQ arm?
I know ricer have made roll-cage with that stuff, I thought it was "strong".

Congratulations. Thanks for the info guys. The first hot rod I had, I put all the money in the motor, and none in the car. It was slow!!!! Now ya'll have reaffirmed, my conviction to put my money in the chassis and weight reduction first. Now if I can solve the money equation.
