Wow...not what I expected with the DA, but new personal best w/T-ReX!!!
Last time I was out, I ran in -1800 DA. My last best was a 10.94 with the C2 cam. Well since then, I've removed quite a bit of weight, installed the T-ReX cam, Rollmaster double roller timing chain, Patriot Gold dual spring kit, Thunder Racing ported/blue printed oil pump, and Katech rod bolts. Took it down to Mike at G-Force and had it tuned. Well...expected to do low 11s tonight since the weather wasnt as great as it was when I ran last, but I certainly surprised myself. I know I picked up a good 35 rwhp with this cam over the C2, so I figured I gained a coupe of tenths, but then again, I figured that I would have to add a couple of tenths back on for the weather. Anyhow...on with the good stuff. With +355 DA, the best I pulled was:
1.49
6.82
100.36
10.76
124.46
All I have to say is wow. Not what I expected. All I keep thinking about is when that cold air comes back around, I expect to see some 10.50s possibly even 10.40s as I will have more weight reduction. I am very pleased with the car. The cam really woke this car up. Anyhow, just thought I'd pass on the exciting news. Here are the other runs:
(first pass)
1.51
6.86
100.27
10.80
124.27
1.50
6.84
100.18
10.78
123.97
1.49
6.83
100.15
10.78
124.06
1.49
6.82
100.36
10.76
124.46

Hey Jeremy, what RPM did you cross the traps at? Do you have a 26" or 28" tire? What RPM is your rev-limiter set at?
3105 is a kick-*** raceweight. Looks like the lightening paid off. LOL.

CamaroCain, 3105 raceweight.
KingCrapBox, not sure what rpms, but I think around 6800. Back when I had the C2, I had a 6900 rpm rev limiter, shifted at 6600, and as soon as I would pass the traps, I would hit the limiter. Now I shift at 7000 rpms, with a 7200 rpm rev limiter. I'm running a 26" ET Drag.
Thanks everyone for the compliments. It's gonna get lighter, more goodies, and when that cold air rolls around next winter, I expect to be close to the record.
