Congrats. Sounds to me you just need to practice a little more and your times will improve. You will be in the high 10's to very low 11's when you hit the spray.

if you 60ft 1.7 you 1/4 times should be around 11.4-11.5 .......with all that power you should be able to 60ft aroung 1.65 and run some low 11's ,just keep practicing

Thanks guys.i am taking the heads off this week end and bringing the to modern cylinder head. They are the 1998 mms stage 2.Modern is going to weld the notchs up so i can run the new style head gasket, with a .040 gasket. And put the cc to 59 so my cr will be atleast 11.0 instead of the 9.8cr right now.(-9 dish pistons and .053gasket)
Do you think that the 9.8cr is hurting me that much?

I think you'll probably pick up nicely with the extra compression! By the way, are you an lt1 or ls1 car, cuz I see no sig, and I can't tell from ur name, just that you have a nbm Z28 with a 383, hehe.

That's kind of small for a 383, you've definately got room to improve there if you don't mind goin bigger, that's like an average sized cam for a 346 these days, hehe!!

I'd call up Allan at Futral and tell him exactly what ur lookin to do with the car and ur setup and future setup and see what they suggest, that's what I did, they make some great setups!!! I would definately say something in the 240 - 250 duration range though should suffice!
