Those were some impressive runs with that 20-25mph crosswind, Rick is a good driver with some big ***** . My 02 Formula slowed down 2mph with the winds on Sat so Ricks car was probably down 4-5mph just from the wind not to mention the horrible DA, the barro was 29.6. Too bad Steve was having tranny probs, it would have been cool to see both cars have a clean run side by side .

Sweet. There's no replacement for seeing it live though. Car looked like it was shot from a cannon.

That is not entirely the tracks fault though. The rain the night before is to blame. If the surface would have been smooth the track would have been killer, and RICK'S CAR WOULD HAVE RUN A SEVEN. We had the car set really soft only leaving on 4 or 5 pounds of boost. 60 footing only low 1.3's. When it is set on kill it sould be mid 1.20's It will be fun in the up coming races.

You would be amazed at what a car can do at 180 mph.

The design of the car is that of a wing. It creates lift naturally. Flat bottom, curved top. The spoiler helps reduce lift, and at a 180 mph, that is more than necessary.
