First time TRACK ####'s

First time TRACK ####'s Went up to the track for the first time yesterday. Best run was a 13.5x @ 109 mph. Best light i cut was a .114 I was thinking that i didn't do to bad 
If i would get some different tires besides original 5 year old goodyears with 38k miles on them

I just have a cutout, track i ran at was Scribner Motorplex in Nebraska. From what i heard the track was running pretty slow. Not to mention i cut a 2.3 60 ft time b/c of wheel spin. BTW i see your SS was number 7143, mine was 7174

Oh I dyno'd the car with all stock no cut out, original paper filter with 37k miles on the car and it put down 308 rwhp and 320 rwt with a shitty A/F of 11.1:1 I would say i am running alittle rich.

Nice numbers, but try this next time, as this worked on my last car (2002 Z28 M6, lid + muffler, street tires).
Launch around 3,000 rpms, ride the clutch a little out of the hole, when you feel it "bite" lay into the gas. 1-2 shift around 5900 rpms since the rev limiter is easy to hit on that shift. 2-3, 3-4 shift around 6100 rpms. This got me 13.18@109 with 2.0 60fts .
