first time to the track and broke just got back from the track. it was my first time with the car. the fastest 1/4 mile was 13.001 and i pulled an 8.402 in the 1/8. on my 5th run, the rear end gave way at the end of the track. i was determined to get a 12 sec. pass but just couldn't get it. maybe next time
I'm in the same boat, being very careful with my 10 bolt with my best of 1.810 60' time on DR's in my M6 TA. I ran 12.43 @ 112.27 MPH with some serious tuning issues, not to mention PCM resetting from a short. Maybe next time. I'm going with a custom build 9" Rear for my TA too, shootin for 11's then! =)
Jarod's rearend won't break any more. I bought this car last summer, and now it has an 8.8" hybrid rear in it. I'll be able to launch it a little harder than Jarod was comfortable doing.
Just going back through and reading some of his old posts. Like this one where he was thinking of spraying the car- I'm glad he didn't do that!
