Lightbulb 1st run since cam!

I finally get to the track after getting my cam installed....wow I sure was excited....then I soon learn to discover my convertor is jacked up!..so needless to say I could not pull a burn out, could not lauch and could not put up a decent time...all we have in Arkansas are 1000' tracks...I went 11.1 w/ jus my airlid...shortly after that i got LT's, converter, programmed, and was running bout 5 tenths quicker....then i finally get my cam and all the goodies that go w/ it...and lay down a 10.85@100MPH(1.99 60Ft.)...so that sucked really bad...ne way jus thought I would share that.

?? What are we talking about? 1/8th mile? 1/4 mile?

10.85 in the 1/8th would suck. But, 100mph in the 1/8th would be great. 1.99 60 foot is awesome with street tires.

But, 10.85 at 100mph doesn't add up at all in the 1/8th or 1/4. You sure those numbers are right?

My 60's were better (low-mid 1.7's), my '98 Z with lid, 3500 stall, Magic Stick v.3 and full exhaust went ~10.2 at the 1,000 foot mark.
When you say it's programmed, what do you mean? You need a good hands on dyno tune.

Ah. I don't know anything about 1000' times then.

How would this compare in the 1/4 mile?
