Only one. I thought he sold that other car (wasn't it blue?)

The most impressive cars there were the single turbo SBC powered 4-door Rambler that went 8.75, the F-3R BBC '84 Caprice Classic (yes, a Caprice Classic) that went 9.24 on a 12.5 ET Street and the small tire Malibu from NY that went into the 8s.

Great event.

I thought he sold the light blue Nova (68/69?).

I thought I read he was gonna bring an early 60's Chevy 2 wagon. I ASSumed that was it with the I6 and the big turbo.

Oh he sold the blue Nova. Nice car.

Is that 34 a 2500 lb glass body car? Was there a weight minimum? Was it a tube chassis pro mod with mufflers?

blue nova went up for auction on ebay but didn't make reserve, then I think either barrett-jackson or private sale.

No weight minimum I believe.

Basically, but he did make the cruise. There were a couple racers (names not mentioned) who had sand castles built in their *** over the car.

BTW, it's an I5, not a 6. Supposedly the motor made 400-some horse w/o the hairdryer. I've never done much research on the I5, but if I remember correctly, they made 270hp stock, but no torque. The interior work on the longroof was immaculate too. The backseat was actually a stretched Kirkey seat.

No weight limits. just has to be NHRA legal, make the cruise and run their spec'd pump gas (93.4 from Rocket if memory serves me correct).

The chevy ll wagon was brand new. I talked to them about the car. It has Big Stuff 3 system on it and they were still tuning on Friday. John Meany was to be there for the afternoon to help tune. The made a timing change error that cost them dearly.

Detail on the car was second to none.

The white chevelle from NY also was very nice. Hearing him row those gears done the track was something. The car leaves hard!
