Default First time at the track, weird times though!

my best time was a 13.6@108.7mph with a 2.195 60ft, however, i ran another 13.64 with a 2.3 60ft, no matter what i couldnt get a good launch in first, either could anyone else, as i raced a ferrari and couple other ls1s with traps in the 115 range and they ran 13.1.

this is with street tires, almost 3/4 tank of gas, full race weight, and i didnt touch the tire pressure, like 34 or so on every tire. Also need a shift light!! i had to shift at around 6k, because it seemed it would hit limiter if i let it go closer to 6200. I just thought i shouldve hit 13.3 or so with that 60ft. What do you guys think?

The 60 foot is killing ya. Get better tires and your times will fall for sure. good luck.

yeah i know my 60ft isnt great, but the thing that confuses me is, i see cars similar to mine run a worse 60ft and mph, but yet run a low 13@105mph or so. So if i get off the line faster, and have a higher mph, how can they have a better et?? thats what doesnt make sense.

A 115 trap should be a low 12's car. I run a 13.1-2 at 104-106 (106 before stall). With your 60 foot times you should be where you are mid to high 13's. The 6 speed cars trap a couple mph more in the 1/4, but normally have higher 60 foot times and make up the ground after the 1/8th on a near stock car. I found 26psi pressure helps too with reg tires.

my best 1/8th time was on the 13.6 run, 8.9 in the 1/8th, seems a bit high to me!! Is my car slow in first and second and pick up in third? what are normal people running in the 1/8 on a lid/exhaust m6 ls1?

Yeah I know what you're saying, I ran a 13.4-2 @ 107 with a 2.3 and a 13.0 @108 with a 2.1.

yeah exactly, the majority of the cars running that day were having the same problems, but i dont see why it would do that, everyone was running good mph, but not great ETs
