results after converter, something wrong
. I have some bad header leaks, both sides of the block, which I had before I ran, and then one on the passenger side gasket b/w the header and y-pipe. Other than that, it felt like it was kinda sputtering up high rpms, not pulling very hard. It seems like maybe my optispark is goin out
, but I'm not sure. I can't believe I could pull such a better 60ft and only pick up like .06 and lose 3 mph Last edited by matrik; Jul 10, 2005 at 12:54 PM.
1-what were the temp/humidity/air conditions on both runs? Comparing good air to bad air is worth 1-4 tenths in the 1/4.
2-If your convertor swap revealed other headaches, then examine those. Might need to check your tune, you mentioned opti-spark, etc.
Hopefully you'll get the combo right and get into the 12s

That 60' rocks BTW. You stood to gain up to 6 tenths with that. What I would give for a 60' like that.
Fix your known problems and go at it again. Also, if you can, log the car using HPTuners.

. Would using autotap be able to tell me anything? I know someone who has it that would let me use it during a run.
