Bracket results NPR Had a good weekend bracket racing at NPR in Louisiana. Friday night I won the Street class. The final was a double breakout deal with me breaking out the least. Saturday was the National Dragster Challenge and one of our points meets. It rained out after time trials and we resumed this morning. The heat and humidity was bad today. After a couple of rain delays and several rounds of racing I made it to the final. I wound up runner up 
with a NHRA Wally going to the winner. The young man that I raced was the first season champ and is currently leading the points. Both of our cars didn't run the number but he had me by .019 on the light and took .023 stripe so I would have had to run a 11.893 on a 11.89 to win. I won a nice plaque and some money and it felt great to make some rounds this weekend. Frank95z

Thanks Coach,Derick,and Rodney. About 5 weeks ago I decided to try running my car in bracket mode instead of all out and the results have been good. I've been to 4 races and made the finals 4 times. The results are 2 wins and 2 runnerups. 1 runner-up was with a -.001 light. Frank95z

Rodney next month the motor will be 10yrs old. Heads are stock but I did a valvejob last year and change springs yearly. Shortblock never touched except changed cam. Total runs in the 1000's and 80,000 street miles. I change oil frequently and try to keep rpm's down in the burnout area. Frank95z
