i sure hope mines not that bad this week end, ima give that bracket racing a shot and try and make you bracket racers proud

Race report. "RAIN" Man, the last 3 weeks have SUCKED!
We have been rained out for 3 straight weekends.
I did however make 3 hits last weekend at HRP(COTT Race) then the rains hit again. Make up is Oct. 29-30th. With the temp so high(98 degrees) and the DA of 4222 the best I could do was 10.68 @ 124.54 mph with a 1.39 60. I have 245 passes on this motor so far.
I hope this coming weekend will be better. As of right now I will be bracket racing at HRP Saturday.

I understand the pain Coach. Out of 8 points races so far this year, we've gotten in only 4 because of rain. This past weekend was no exception, and although I should be used to it, this weather sucks AZZ!

This weekend looks pretty good weather wise. FEAR just made a deal with me. If I quit drinking beer for 2 weeks she will let me race both Friday and Saturday nights. Sweet deal if ya ask me.
Friday night-Angleton Dragway. Saturday night-HRP.

Well there goes the freshly painted hood!!!!!!!!!!! Coach you know better than to take your $50 000.00 race car to a $50.00 track.

I tried to get 400 passes on my motor. I made it to 300. Motor needs freshened. My wife and I pulled the motor and tranny out this weekend. The motor is strapped to a skid and ready to go on my truck. I need to pull the puter and wiring harnness and I'm off to S.A.M. Next week maybe.
My motor took some big time abuse. It held up well.
Now I'm going to shorten the axles and rear end housing, relocate the LCA's, then mini tub. It's also time to freshen the glide. I'm going to do some other stuff too. I would tell you what they are Coach, but my fingers are sore from typing and I seem to be highjacking your thread

I'll be trying to make the team again this year. The finals are at a closer track at least (2 hour drive compared to 6-1/2 hours). That'll be a good way to wind down my racing season: ET finals, next weekend is Super Chevy, then 2 weeks after is a Nostalgia race 3 hours south of me. Then the off-season works begins (again!)
