Thumbs up New accomplishment

I dragged trailer down south this past Saturday to Bradenton Motorsports where they were having a $2500 to win Bracket Bonanza. My main purpose for going was to get on a great track to do some more testing. With the transbrake they wouldn't let me in the No E class and then they cut the race down to the 1/8th mile for all classes. Those things were enough for me to make my practice runs and load up.

Made a few new suspension adjustments as directed by Madman and the car was working great. Had the car lined up for my last test run and got paired up with a dragster. Been a long time since I ran a snake and thought this could be fun. It was heads up since we were in the final testing round and the snake left early (-.115) to my .080 light. Can't tell you how friggen awesome it was to be able to run him down and beat him to the 1/8th. I won't go lookin to test my luck against any of those boys in the future, but I'll take my win this time

What he said

Trust me, it was a slow snake, but I can still call it a win.

Congrats on beating the snake. What did the car run? They wouldn't let you run the no/box class because of your tranz-brake? That is the IHRA/NHRA rule for no box down here in Div. 4.

Coach,

I kinda expected to run with the t-brake as I'm used to seeing "Footbrake Only" when it's a no box race.

Congrats on making some passes down a sticky track with the new set-up Eric. Bummer that the times are but understandable. Hope you do well in Maryland!

Sweet, I can't wait! I just hope the car is ready in December, I should've ordered my madman t/a this week already, but ran into problems with my girl gettin really sick (they think she's got an ulcer after all their tests and ****) and having to foot the bill cuz her mom has no insurance for her and we're not married yet, so I can't put her on mine! But we're starting to come out of the slow season at work now (hopefully), so I should have her ready!
