Stock Z06 with Nitto DRs, ran today
I bought an '02 Z06 last Friday. Today I bolted on my 315/35-17 Nittos (on 17x9.5 wheels) from my Camaro and went to Cedar Falls Raceway for some times.
The car is 100% stock other than the tires, including a dirty stock paper air filter. I had about 1/2 tank of gas, and I weigh 250. EDIT: D/A was around 2300'.
Best run:
60'........1.855
330'......5.298
1/8........8.107
mph.......88.84
1000'.....10.482
1/4........12.479
mph.......113.68
Incidentally, this is the best time I have ever run with any of the cars I've owned, including a Procharged '01 Mustang GT, a mildly worked '86 GN, a couple LS1 Camaros, etc. I'm very happy with this car!

Good times for your first time out. Personally i wouldn't start modding the car until you get her solidly into the 11's on those nittos in stock trim. The car is more than cpable of it.

There are several people that have put stock Z06's into the 11's, it may take a little ptractice, but it's doable....and you could easily pull 100lbs out of the car for a track visit.

Anyways, nice driving. What are you launching your car at rpm wise, and are you feathering the clutch or dumping it?
