Stenod car = Kevin's White TT Firebird.

Car ran an 8.99 at 153.6 mph on the way to the finals at the MIR LS1Tech Race on Sat.

Awesome pass, I watched it from the tower. As soon as I saw it hook and go, I knew it was on its way to a number.

Too bad nobody got any vid of your Stenod crew doing cartwheels and running around shouting

I'll have videos up around mid day today. We don't know how much it's going to pick up as the fall weather moves into Michigan here in the next month or so. But, we are going to try some different transmission combos in the car now so that everyone can see what each trans does. I believe that the 6 speed might go back in it for some street driving. But, it won't go to the track that way because we know it will break. Then we're going to look at putting a Powerglide in it for a track rental up here on October 11 at Milan. Hopefully that will give us a very fair comparison of the TH400 to the Glide in a setup like this. We'll keep you posted on the results of that.

As far as a 8.50 pass, on twin 60's at Kevin's weight he would have to gut the car and run it on a track pointed downhill in mineshaft air with a 30mph tailwind. It is simply out of turbo at this point. Maybe we can get him to save up for some twin 66's for next spring and we can see if it can eclipse Harlan's old setup considering it would be practically identical at that point.

Anyway, it was a great weekend for us. The drive down and back was brutal, but well worth it to get the 8 in the hot sticky weather. Congrats to all the winners and thanks to everyone that showed up.

Nope, we didn't grab any Molson's for the trip down. We put a few big beers and some steaks down on Saturday night though.

Pictures and video's are up. The pictures are still going to take another 30 minutes to finish up the photo album though.

Pictures and Videos are now up.
