Default How could my 1/4 mile MPH increase when my 60 foot time got worse?

I don't know why I never asked before, but this happened last December. I made three passes on the same day. The last two passes in question are in my sig below and were made within an hour of each other. On the run with the 2.075 60', I had 103.98 MPH. On the run with the 2.257 60', my MPH increased to 104.82. How could my 60' get worst, but my MPH get better? I have an A4. The car is basically bone-stock. Thanks in advance for the info.

when u let the tires slip a little bit instead of hooking them harder it brings the motor up into your power band faster gaining mph...Thats why on a stock gear stock stall speed car you never wanna try and dead hook ur just bogging down the motor.
